Philip Charles Woolridge is a Los Angeles based documentary photographer. With strong influences from film, Woolridge has a cinematic approach to documenting everyday life. Drawing inspiration from war photographer Robert Capa, civil rights photographer Gordon Parks, and painter Edward Hopper. While attending the Seattle Film Institute 2014-15, Woolridge’s studies were focused on cinematography. Woolridge now lives in Los Angeles and works as a Set Lighting Technician for film. Between productions, he spends his time documenting life throughout Los Angeles.
